Is a bit of a sad day for me. With the economy being like it is. I had to sale my tractor and all the equiptment that went with it.
Did not get what I thought it was worth. But lately so many tractors have been on the sale radio and going cheap as I see it in my area. So had to settle for lot less. :(
Don't know if I will ever be able to get me another tractor again.
Well enough said... almost cried when they trailered it and all out from house here. Take care.

That's a bad day.

I'm farmin' for a living, lots of ups & downs over the years.

Can't remember what you had for a machine again, I remember you talking about it, but can't remember the model now?

Sorry to hear that Larry. Brings a tear to my eye thinking about it. You aren"t in this alone...a well known tax machine has suddenly decided I am the public enemy number one. Peace be with you.

Hey perk up you are young I didn't get into this hobby until I had retired and now I'm pretty well set.
Walt
PS marry a rich gal.

Sorry to hear that, hope things turn around for you. Just cause you don't have a tractor anymore, don't think that your not welcome here. You can still chime in. Let us know how things are going. Chris

Sorry mate, I remember my wife crying when a bloke drove my old truck away. She knew what it meant to me.
It will come around again,
God Bless,
Rex

Too bad. Sure someone was there quick, fast, and in a hurry to take advantage of your bad situation. Keep your eyes and ears open, it all comes back.

Good luck.

Dave

Hang in there. Life takes a lot of turns and twists. Material things become a lot less important as we age. Count your blessings - and smile. It will help you AND those around you. Good Luck to YOU. bob f.

Give your self some time and you will find a maybe smaller tractor that will fit your bill plus get you back in the seat. I know you love a Kabota like the one I had in my shop a couple weeks ago. It even had a 3 point and loader up front. Ya it would not lift near as mush as the loader on my ford does but it would fit your bill just about right. I know my wife sure would love to have one like it but I also know the guy will not sell it.

I decided last August to sell my tri-axle dump truck because of construction dropping off so bad. I didn't get a buyer with enough money until end of Dec. but I still shed a tear when it went down the road even though I had 4 months to get used to the idea. But time heals all wounds. That truck sure did take up a lot of my time.

Larry - so very sorry for you. If we had to sell the tractors I doubt that I could be there to watch them leave. Prayers for you.

i just sold my 1995 impala ss and am taking my 1949 john deere a to sale on july 12. i had tha ss since 1999 and the a since 1993.
a was built 3 days after my 1st birthday i haven't used for a long time i hate to see it go but.

Hang in there buddy, you'll be fine. Keep your head up and someday you'll probabally find another tractor. Good Luck

Sorry Larry, as my grandson would say No fun at all. Some of us are just a little behind you. We will be next. My 54 ford of 30 years is for sale. No gas, no takers.

You know .. sometimes you think your the only one out there crying wolf over money. But then you read as I did, this form.
Have to say.. it did perk me up with all the kind words and showing me I was not alone out here.
At least the gentleman and his young son seem very delighted on getting the tractor and equiptment from me. Said he drove one when he what very young and tends to have work done and fun with his new tractor now. :)
Thanks again.

Larry and others, I sure am sorry to hear it. I wrote both of my Senators and my Congressman last night, both parties, and ripped them but good. I won't go into details because I don't want anyone taking the opportunity to drag politics into this, and whether they will read them or not, at least I ripped them all but good.

I sure am sorry to hear these things. Having to sell off owned equipment aand properties. As Red Skelton used to say, "Good night and God bless".

Mark
