Massey Ferguson Indentification

Any information to identify my tractor is appreciated. It may be an MF 30B. It has a Perkins Diesel 3 Cyl. The number on the right side is 152UA, Serial 196998D. The dash tag reads 9A96549. It has a front end loader with a rear scraper. Before I buy repair/parts manuals, I need to know what it is. What is it?

Came in Continental either gas or Perkins diesel. Diesel 203 CID N0/SPEEDS 5/1Serial 196998D DOESN'T MATCH AS THEY ALL HAD 6 DIGITS STARTING WITH 9xxxxx I looked in my book and could not find any serial #s that were close to yours.

I agree with Walt about the SS #. My book shows the engine for a 1960-1964 MF 35 as a Perkins 3A-152 3 Cyl, and that is the only one I find with a 3 cyl. Can you send a photo of it. Some one might be able to identify it.

Thank you for all of the responses. I went back to the tractor...scrubbed more numbers: Serial # is 9A 965492;Transmission 506824M2; Differential 521 390A91 CX18000;Loader MFICM MF34 1687101185;Bucket 32A 2205002795;Hood MF40(may not be the original). One other number found, but I don't remember where: MF 9A 3I9457. If this doesn"t get us closer...I will attach a picture.

This is a much newer tractor than the TO30 shown in the first picture. It is an industrial tractor made in the 80's. they made a 20 series also. A lot of them were skip loaders and backhoes. here is some data on the 30B
