hay trailer plans

does anyone know where to get plans to build a hay wagon would like to build one from scratch have lots of steel available thanks

I use old camp trailer frames they are pretty heavy duty and have tandem axles and brakes. I clean them down to bear frame and the use 2X12s cross ways for the new floor. I have put a frame up on the front of one that really helps in holding the hay on also gives one a way up and down when you stack five or six high. Its a low cost but very nice trailer for anything heavy. One trailer had boxed frame, I found some Pop rivets for 5/15 bolts online and used them to secure the wood. Metal decks are way to slippery for hay.

There's a man with the handle Kelly C built one of these a few years ago and he took lots of pictures during construction and posted them. He may respond or someone may remember his web site. Hal

This is my recently completed 8 1/2 x 20 while under construction. It has 3 x 6 inch steel stringers then true 4x4 White Oak cross members with 2 x 8 inch flooring bolted with 3/8 bolts. The back rack is 3 x 2 inch rectangular tubeing with some Oak bolted to it. I will get you some more pics, please disregard the bale grabber sitting on top.
