what is a super deluxe tractor???

hello all,
i just ran across an old farm tractor the other day and on the grill it said super deluxe, it is blue and white and looks like a 8n to me, i didnt see any other markings on it but didnt look that hard, now its bugging me to know made the tractor, is it a special edition?? a regular model?? a rare find?? i collect and restore old tractors for fun and its bugging me not knowing about this one, ive been searching this on the net but cant find anything,, does anyone know anything about a super deluxe??

Could you have read it wrong ?? Sounds like a Fordson "Super Dexta" to me. They are blue and gray (white). Super models were made 1962 - 64. Some U.S. models were badged 2000 Super Dextas.

I'm not a blue tractor expert, but I would guess it is probably a Ford or Ferguson tractor.

no sir i didnt read it wrong, it says super deluxe
its not blue and gray, its blue and white
it could be repainted though,

have you got a pic? i did a quick search and all i can get is a ford super deluxe CAR model from the '40's, could it be a fordSON super deluxe? they were blue and kind of a grey white

I've never heard of a Super Deluxe Tractor. Now Super Dexta I have.

Here are some tractors it could have been:

Fordson Super Major 5000

Ford-Ferguson 9N Super Deluxe

Ford Super Dexta

I'm guessing the tractor is a 9N Super Deluxe. As said before if you can get a picture of the tractor, it will save a lot of time in identifying it.

There was NEVER anything called a Ford-Ferguson 9N Super Deluxe. The 9N's only came one way and the only options were lights or a PTO extension.
