A lot of Ebay adds people put the !! at the end of it. Ex. VINTAGE!!; L@@K!!; MM!!; JD!!; IH!!. It don't make it worth more and I find it anoying. It also makes it sounds like the person is yelling. The same goes for when people type in caps.

Another question, why do people part out running tractors? if they run why not sell them as complete tractors? Is it really worth disasembling a operation tractor to make a few extra dollars?

Third question, if a part is one unit, ex. and air cleaner I seen on ebay was compleatly disasembled and the body, bowel and screen were all on different sales.
 
Common tractors sell for more in pieces. There is a green parts dealer here that will take complete tractors and part them out, then what won't sell goes to the scrapper. If i don't like that, i have two options; pay his price for complete ones, or outbid him at sales. I don't like it either, but it's his buisness. I only part out stuck or broken tractors, myself. But i also don't deal in the high dollar stuff, either. And i'm not making a living at it, just hobby money and dealing/meeting with new folks. It's all about the difference between a buisness and a hobby. I'll take the hobby.
 
I believe they do type in caps for emphasis, however I dont find it offensive I have glaucoma in my left eye and I find it easier to read. A thick skin is necessary to not be offended when on the Internet, people have a totally different personality when they are anonomus.

Maximizing profit is smart business an 8N Ford that sells for 2 grand running would bring double that or more if parted out and it's not easy money to part out and sell one it takes an amazing amount of time to disassemble, clean, categorize, take pics, etc. It's the old saying "A quick nickel or a slow dime" obviously some prefer the slow dime.

Again max profits, very good chance that he will sell the desirable component and be sitting on the rest for a while. But who knows?
