Ferguson TO-20

I have just moved into a home with small barn and have found a dusty Ferguson tractor in the barn. All is there and intact and the ignition seems to have been converted to 12 Volt. My problem is that I have no knowledge of tractors and no idea how to start it. There are peddles on either side of the transmission case but not sure what they do. There is an S in front of the R (reverse) which I heard is the start position. The ignition comes on via a switch on the lower left and a visible light on the right dash, but there is no sign of life despite jumping it, charging it, etc. I"d love to hear it cough to life. What am Inot doing?

make sure it has clean gas. Also, be sure which one the clutch is, should be the one on the left unless theres two petals there, in which its one of them but i dont know. Once it starts, hit the clutch, shift into neutral (center i believe), clutch again, then into 1 in low idle with no one around. SLOWLY let off the clutch and she should slowly move foward. Make sure tires, etc check out then once youre outside, try 2, 3, 4, etc. Also, the highest gear is a road gear. 4th gear may be 4mph, and 5th could be 15 BE READY. Do any/all of the above soely at your own risk

The clutch is on the left and the brake is on the right. The other two pedals to the rear are the individual brake pedals used to help turn.

Make sure that you have oil in the crankcase and coolant in the radiator. Fresh gas should be in the tank and the tank valve should be open. Put you foot on the clutch and press it down. Turn on the key and move the shift lever from neutral over to the right and up to the start (S) position and the engine should turn over.

Thanks for the info guys. I have found no key at all on this thing and only see a toggle switch on the lower left side of the steering column on the dash. When I turn this on, the red light on the right side of the dash comes on. If I press the clutch on the left (which looks exactly like the one on the right) the light goes out and there is no ignition. If I just press the shift lever forward toward the S position, nothing at all happens though the battery is fully charged.
