Which Lawn Tractor

I need to get a mower for my place in north florida and Im kinda torn between the white outdoor with a 23hp Kohler or the husqvarna with a 24hp Briggs, Both are 54in, hydrostatic,V-twin and same money ($2000) I kinda like the seating feel of the Husky better than the white, but always liked kohler engines though I imagine the B&S would be fine for my uses to. (not gonna run everyday) Anyone had much experience with these brands of mowers? I know Huskys have been around for years but Im not familar with the white. Or are they all pretty much the same quality in that size range? thanx, Don
Ps, only have 5ac and wont be mowin more that 2 tops

check the dealer for service and i would probably go with the huskvarnia, the briggs engine is very good now, good luck Amo

I believe that B&S and kohler have the same quality motors. I mean all there parts cost around the same price.

the only real difference i see is that kohler motors are seen on more expensive mowers like cub cadet and toro. and B&S is seen on all types of yard equipment.

but on the subject of the mowers i would go with the husquavarna just because you are familiar with them and have good luck with them before.

This model YTH20K46 has the Kohler Courage Single 20 hp 46 inch, but appears smaller than what you're after.

I won't consider anything with a B & S engine myself. All my mowers have the Kholer engines.

Depends if you live there or if you're a snowbird. If you store it someone might steal it. If you live there a good used JD 318 may be your answer.
