Broken bearing in PTO on Kubota

I was getting ready to finish mowing my upper field yesterday when my buddy stopped me and said i was losing oil. Took a look and sure enough it was pouring out of the PTO shaft. Well the bearing felt good and the seal was pushed out so i went back to the shop (my lawn) and took it down to see what was gone. Turn out to be the outer bearing race was broken and it pushed the seal out.
Now I have looked at the book and asked the local dealer for help but all can see is that I have to split the tractor to get the shaft out for repair.
Kubota L-285. The factory manual is junk on tis one.

I can't remember if I ever did one while I was at the dealer cause I worked on so many different models. If you posted a picture of the rear pto I Might be able to tell you.

I do know most the smaller Kubotas did not need split to change the pto Shaft.

Does this help taking a pic of the tractor won't show this as its hidden.

Walt I believe that you unbolt that pto retainer #31 and pull the shaft #26 right out Sleeve #7.

It is a confusing picture. If it is meant to come out it should come out very easy. No prying or pullers would be needed.

I tried to move it out but it wouldn't move I will try again but I don't want break anything else I out $450 right now.
