It was just announced that Tim Russert has died. Like it or not he was the most reliable and unbiase of the news reporters.

I agree he was a very intelligent person and was able to put things in Blue collar terms.

Great TV special on him last night...
small town Buffallo boy made good...successful lawyer, political honch turned journalist...never let politicians of any stripe off the hook and knew enough about the inside to ask the tough questions.
Jim McKay and Tim Russert will be sorely missed as journalists.......what fluffy "newbies" can fill their shoes?
