Red power roundup in Columbia, Missouri

Was thinking of going to the Red Power Roundup in Columbia, Missouri, but I am concerned about the rain and flooding. Anyone been there today and can let us know what is happening?

LIve North of there Sun is Shining right now but calling for rain tommorrow the fair grounds is hilly so should drain good and some stuff is inside the large arena

Just got home. Around Columbia it was fine but chance of rain there tonite and tomorrow.

North about 70 miles we hit rain and drove in and out of rain all the way home to Iowa City area.

Don't drive thru eastern Iowa on I 80. They are closing it at anytime.

Several other hiways are under water as well along with 100's of houses in Iowa.

I came home early to help with the flooding.

Was not a direct route to get home.

I live 3 miles from the fairgrounds. It stormed here pretty hard last night. I dont think Columbia got it as bad as other places, but the radio was talking like the northern part of the county (25 miles north) got up to 3in of rain.

Parking was touchy Thurs and it poured much of Thurs nite so i left around 8 this morn as they expected rain all morning.
