my jd la will not start after choking and attempting to start gas pours out of bottom of carburater

Is it flooded? If not, something is wrong in the carb, take it off and clean it and put in a new kit. Also make sure the float level setting is correct. Also be sure that the mag is giving a good blue spark.

Has it set for awhile ? If so I have had them pour gas out the carb. when choked , but still not get gas sucked up to the spark plugs. Last time I had my LA out I had to put some gas in the cylinders to get it going.
