What would be a good cleaner that you could run in a rear end of tractor to get rid of sludge deposits?

1 qt diesel fuel per gal of rear diff oil.

I use kerosene. I have a small electric pump from a parts washer with a hose hooked to it. Put it in a pail under the transmission drain with aabout a gallon of kerosene or diesel in it. Remove the cover from the transmission. Aim the hose at the worst of the sludge and let it pump and circulate. Keep moving it around until you get it all. Takes some time but isn't much work and give you a chance to really see whats in there. You'd be surprised what you find sometimes. Good luck,
