Am looking for replacements for a pair of 40-year old Goodyear 18.4 X 30's; not flat or leaking yet, but getting there. Anyone ever bought anything from Nebraska Tire? Their price, for a "slightly used" "take-off" or "blem" tire, my size, is $280, FOB Eastern NE. Price sounds good, but sure would like to see the tires before buying and shipping them. The written warrantee also sounds good as described on their website. I'm only a long day's drive away from them and would pick them up if fuel wasn't high. Complicating matters is a $100 surcharge for delivering to a farm/country residence. Has anyone dealt successfully with these guys before?

They're fine.

Just make darned sure you get the correct ply.

Would imagine that you don't want a tire designed for a pivot on your tractor. :>)

Ran many blemished tires on tractors and combines and with some couldn't see anything wrong with them. Others just had rougher finish on sidewalls or tread but didn't hurt the use any. They are not tires for pretty city boy show tractors though but fine for working machines. Just call them and make sure what tire, brand, ply and how much freight is so no surprises. Tiretown.com is the one we buy from in Kansas. We had more brand new Goodyear radials fail from cracks and holes when less than 2 years old than any problems from blem tires.

If at all possible, do not deal with Nebraska Tire. Have had many many problems with the service and people who work there. The tires may be cheap, but it ain't worth the hassle. They'll tell you they have it, you'll drive all day to get there, and they won't have it. Bunch of crooks, literally. As the locals. BTDT. My $.02.

I've bought two sets of blems from Neb. Tire three years ago. They have been no problem. 18.4X34 Titans and 12X24 Titans with the names ground off. They looked nice to me and they are on my 756 Farmall and RTI Moline. I haven't tried plowing with them, I wondered if the sidewalls had any problems that I couldn't see.
