If you can locate yourself on a map try this.http://websoilsurvey.nrcs.usda.gov/app/WebSoilSurvey.aspx and you can approximate with this and get close.

I recently posted about a Garmin GPS72. All you have to do is drive around the perimeter of the field and then go to save track and it will spit out the acreage to 4 decimal points,=. Available on Ebay for less than 80 bucks. Funnest thing for farmers in a long time.

Divide it into squares or rectangles and triangles, multiply length x breadth, triangles only divide by 2.
