hi in texas first i had split this tractor to rebuild the motor,it went back together kinda tite,,i wasn't too sure about it so i resplit it,then i found out it was only the clutch,so i reassembled it then started it up,ran great and still does ,now when i try to shift, the gear lever hangs up hard in 1,2,4,and 6,,but you can hear it grinding and moving a tiny bit forward but i dont need to be doing that, now it will go into reverse and back up but theres still a chattering sound,,,,the lower gear range on the shifter area 3,5,7,and 8,,it drops right into place but i'm not sure that it grabs nothing because even the clutch is not needed,,aside from all this trouble,i can't get my hydraulic pressure back, may be due to the lack of me not knowing what to bleed first but man i hope that i didn't tear up anything stabbing it the first time,,if so ,is there any way to remove the floor and gain access to take a look into this problem,if not,,whats the easiest way to pull the cab?thanks guys any help is appreciated

You have a clutch/gearing problem. The clutch is either installed incorrectly, improperly adjusted or damaged, wasn't guaged properly when installed or you have damaged the input shaft/main shaft when you tried to force it together. If the input shaft is not turning, due to the clutch or damaged shaft the charge pump will not run, which results in no hydraulics,(no oil being sent to the front pump)and the no shifting problem

i'm afraid thats what it might have been but more than anything was dreading asking,,also the other day,i was going to pull it in reverse for about 5 feet with it in reverse, well as i took off i noticed the rear wheels weren't turning,so i stopped immediately, then when i gfot in thew cab to look it was in 3rd forward gear,,,the kid must have misunderstood where reverse was ,i think my tranny needs some help now but not sure which section to pull open 1st,is it the one right behind the clutch area?is it about as hard as separating the engine from the clutch area?is it also possible to not have to remove the caball the way when splitting it open?i only wish this was as easy as the 7020 was when the topshaft went bad,,
