This is what happens when you no till without using any burndown and dont get back to it for awhile. Its only 8 acres but what a mess. Note to self, dont do that again!]

I planted it a three weeks ago and the corn is up and looks good. You can see the paths the row cleaners made if you look. Its hel so I have to no till it. It's the only no till corn I plant.
Put on 24 oz of touchdown and 2.25 pts of guardsman max today. That ought to clean it up. I just hope it didnt hurt the stand to much with all that weed pressure. Giant ragweeds, common ragweeds and lambsquarters mostly.

anybody need hire man?

This farmer has a 7000 deere planter and they tell me this is what happens when the drive clutch slips. I saw this happen to another neighbor a few years ago. Not a real good situation.

"Giant ragweeds, common ragweeds and lambsquarters mostly."

Sure wish I had some here. Excellent quail food and cover.

Yes, live right at the corner of Saddle Creek and Cass. Can see the now closed Target store right out my front door as I type. Greg

What happened was that the tire's air pressure were not the same. Neighbor had the exact same problem on his John Deere 7000 a few years ago. Pumped them up to specs. and cured it.

Unless it is a good population count monitor it will not pickup little skips like that.

Some of the first monitors on the 7000 did not count population.
