Mr Fred, I was thinking the same thing. A small engine made by Kubota? I did see a tractor that was labeled as the first Kubota sold in the USA. It had the Kubota name on it but also McCulloch name on it. It was a small almost garden tractor sized tractor. I don't remember the year but sometime in the 1960's.
