Does anyone have an idea how to get a third set of outlets to run the chute on My snowblower? It has a loader on the front using up both sets of outlets. Is there a place to get hydraulic flow from some where on the factory system ??? Thanks in advance for any advice!! Roy

On a Farmall 656, there is a line that comes off the right side of the torque tube, runs up under the platform, and connects to the hydraulic system under the seat. I think the 544 and utility models have the same line.

That's your hydraulic supply line. Someone needs to confirm for me, but I believe you can disconnect it from under the seat, re-route it to a joystick valve for your loader, then run the power beyond output from that valve back to where you disconnected the original line. That gives you a joystick valve for the loader and gives you back your two factory valves. You'll need to run a third line from the loader valve's output port back to the rear end of the tractor.

If they are available or can be gotten from another model, the easiest way is to add a power beyond plate to your valve stack you have. Then you can run a line to a triple stack valve using to spools for the joy stick to your loader and the 3rd could be used for the blower spout. Though I like the 12V linear actuator diesel tech mentioned. Just as reliable and work well for those kinds of jobs. With no oil to leak from fittings and lines. The wire would be cheaper than the hydraulic hose too. Actuators are similarly priced to hydraulic cylinders.

The power beyond plate works fine but it's not just "add a power beyond plate."

(544 and 656 are the same BTW, so when you read 656 it also applies to the 544)

There are two types of valves on these tractors, an inner valve which is open on both sides so oil can flow through, and an outer/end valve which has a closed side that routes the oil back through the valve stack to the return.

When you go to add a power beyond plate, if you want to retain the two factory valves, you need to replace the end valve with an inner valve. That's an additional, significant, cost. Your old valve has very little value because the demand is for inner valves to do power beyond.
