Perkins engine won't start

After it sets for a month or so. I have to bleed the injector lines. I always make sure I push the stop cable in after it comes to a stop.

First thing I would try. Take the fuel filter off and clean the gasket surface. Then lube the gasket and reinstall. Make sure filter is real tight.

Fuel Lift pump valves can also cause that, also an air leak of the tank return line from the injectors.

I have taken a rag and air nozzle and pressurize the tank and see where the fuel seeps out. It is often the line from tank to filter has a small leak that wont show otherwise
