Or just grey in this case. Ferguson-Brown Model A. Harry Ferguson never really built his own tractor, he collaborated with David Brown, originally, then with Henry Ford and later with the Standard Motor Company to produce a tractor. He was also a genius when it came to the design of weight transfer systems, which was how he got into design in the first place. His initial ideas were to prevent accidents when using the Fordson F and to stop it rearing up and overturning backwards.

Even Black tractors go grey with age!!! From what I have read, the only ones painted black were the original prototypes and trial tractors, only about two or three. One is in the Science Museum in London.
