Another Jigsaw angle

Similar to the photo I posted last night except I'm standing beside the Morris seed rites. Spring of 1991. Gives you a bit of an idea of the hills I had to deal
with on some of my land. It won't look bad onscreen but I farmed those hillsides long enough to know it was a real challenge for tractors to drag implements up
them. I had one part of the field I would only combine one direction as the MF 550 spun out trying to climb it. On dry ground ! Eventually I grassed down some of
it and finally sold it to a cattle guy as it was better suited to grow hay.
Made another jigsaw.

Seeding the hills

Hi rusty6. Morris seed rite drills worked great. Good piece of equipment. My dad and I had 44 feet of them. Used them for years. We took the harrows off and pulled coil packers behind ours. They did a good job.

Yes, I have no complaints on the seeding job they did. Transport was a big job though as my land is spread out and I had to break them down to pull one behind the other down the roads. Some heavy lifting loading up all the hitch parts. I suspect some of my back problems today might be related to that lifting. Plus falling backwards off the platform and landing on my back over a steel pipe.
