i made a jar of honey garlic this morning from this years crop of garlic and last years honey. now the hard part, got to wait a month for it to ferment , perfect be
ready for christmas. keep u healthy as a horse.

I have never heard of it. That is really a big jar of it that you made. How would you use that in food ?? Bill

Do you stay healthy as a horse because people don't want to get close to you after eating garlic?
 
Thats the idea! Its actually its just garlic fermenting in honey. So simple to make , pretty mild once fermented. Only Ingredients is the honey and garlic.
 
I want to try this.

So let me get this straight. You just fill a jar with garlic then cover the garlic with honey seal and let it sit for a month. Then eat one piece of garlic a day out the jar.

A google search says it lowers blood pressure and cholesterol. Two things I have problems with.
 
Yes u got it , only thing is u must burp the jars every couple days as they could explode from fermentation. I warm the honey in a pot to make it run then pour it in the jar. The garlic wants to float so can set it upside down every so often.
 
Big fan of garlic and honey, never thought of combining the two. Thanks for the idea.

George I am with you on this one for what ever it cures I had just as soon have it that eating that stuff.
