Two reasons for posting this picture, one is the Rust Puzzle the other AMF asked about calormeters an few posts down and this is the one in common use in England, on tractors, in the late 1940's and early 1960's. If you are restoring an old tractor, this is a piece of rocking horse manure and, even in this condition will cost a lot of money.

I have 5 E27N's from 1950, and most still have the temp indicator. One has a brass plug that looks especially made for the spot. Maybe I should worry about souvenir hunters?
