Swathing jigsaw

I think I took this photo about 1990. I had cut around and through the middle of this field of durum wheat with the self propelled Massey swather and was now using the pull type Massey to do the rest of the field. It was three feet wider, made a nicer swath and was much more comfortable riding than the self propelled. The sky scenery made a nice jigsaw picture.

Nice picture rusty6. Those 21 foot kilbury Massey swathers were a good machine. Laid a great swath. When my dad and I farmed together we ran two of them. We put a double swath attachment on one of them and ran 42 feet of swath together. Worked great.

Thanks Jim. I still have the same swather way in the back of the quonset just in case of emergency. It wont handle heavy canola though.
