With a borrowed tractor, running over a skunk on purpose is in the top five! I just got back from getting my 4640 back from a neighbor, and it will be the last time he borrows anything from me!

There was a dead skunk in the road in front of the house one morning. I didn't want somebody running
over it and flattening it and making things worse. I went out with the loader and tried to scrape it
off in to the ditch. I had the bucket rolled back just a hair too far and rolled it instead of
scraping it off. The smell was so bad that I threw up.

I am sure you should ask him to come back and wash the tractor.

And then never let him borrow it!

Make sure the stinky spot is in the sunshine as much as possible.
That will shorten the time period by six months.

my neighbors younger brother (think mid 40s) got a
skunk with the batwing . the next year he put one thru the
combine harvesting soybeans. what a mess!

There's a product called Odor Xit (no E) that does a remarkable job of removing odors. You'll find it on the internet.

You could end up with a thousand different cleaners from that recipe because "liquid soap" could be a 1,000 different products, LOL.

How would You like to find one in a live trap instead of a ground hog ? i caught a
raccoon, a groundhog and a skunk , Lucky for Me the boys shot the skunk at 25 paces with a
feint odor 2 days later to clean up .

I set alive trap in a attic one time and caught a skunk. He didn't let loose yet. I climbed the latter, and carefully put a towel over the trap. Climbed down, still no stink. Took the skunk some place and let to go. The skunk was happy, so was I. Stan
