Can anyone tell me more about this blade and what it might be worth. or might even be interested in buying it.
Dan

Cannot tell you about that blade, but I like that gauge wheel on it. I have been wondering how gauge wheels would work on my box blade.

The blade looks like a Ford series 710 blade with the optional tail wheel made about 1960. It was discussed in a post about four years ago. I have no idea of its value. If you are trying to sell it, location is important for something that size and weight.
Series 710 Blade

I have that blade I gave $100 for it one of the best deals I have ran across. I don't have the grader wheel set up, I brought the front off a old zero turn to make it just never got around to it.

I would not take a share in a gold mine for it. It will work with up to a 50HP tractor and live a long happy life. If you brought a new blade comparable you will pay $1500 plus. Its not a poor boys special someone will appreciate how well its built and pay good money for it.

My thoughts, I would give 500 for it keep it and sell mine for 500 are take the tail wheel off and sale it for 500 : ) I see a free tail wheel set up for someone that already has that blade.

If its in good condition as is $750 they will not buy a new set up for less are double far as that goes. Fact its more blade than a 2WD 25HP needs and what a 35HP up with 4X4 up will not tear up. That's the value in it and the value the buyer must see to pay good money for it.

Wheres it at.

Wish I would have had it when I was still on the farm, did not even know about them until later. Would stop the up and down gougeing of a normal blade that I had both a 6 foot and 7 foot blade.

Will work great. I had a front hitch and rear wheels from a drag type brush hog that I grafted on to my 6ft box blade. Works like a small land leveler.

I have a Blackhawk blade like that in very good condition. it is Cat I or Cat II, just change a few bolts.
The one I have has kind of a wing(?) to keep the material in the blade. I had it for sale at our local show 2 years ago with zero bites. If someone is interested email open. joe

It is very similar to a Dearborn blade we had on our farm where I grew up. We used on it on our 8n Ford. The tail wheel was excellent for leveling dirt, rock, you name it. Mark.

it for new kubota as it is heavy duty and on your advice would cost me a lot of money to replace if need be . thx again
