I had multiple uncles and other family members that served and a son that fought for our country. THANK YOU to them all! Gone bless them all! Kow Farmer

Back in the 60's all the guys had to make a choice of what service to join, or sneak off to Canada. So in 1964 I joined the Navy, and I was off the farm to boot camp, It was a good choice for me. I am sure Dad missed my help during hay, and bean seasons, those 4 years. Stan

My dad was, too. What unit was your dad in? Mine went through N. Africa, Sicily/Italy, and Normandy w/the 82nd, and his Parachute artillery btn was transferred into the 101st just in time to be trucked into a little village called Bastogne.
