Have seen a few around and one of dads friends had one.
Never ran one though. How many row head is it ? 3 ?

It is a 4 row head. When I bought it, it had a 3 row head, and I have no idea how one could stay off the next rows. It is hard enough to stay off them with the 4 row.

My brother has several Uni System outfits, 717 combine, two Superchoppers, four row picker like yours, cage shellers, and a nine foot three auger snowblower/dog eater!

I grew up with a 702. It had that gutsy Gimmy V6. It was a
rodeo with the chopper on our hills. It fit our needs and
did everything we needed it to. Pa made a little cash
doing custom work with the chopper and picker.

There are still some that live on around the Meeker/
Wright county area picking seed corn.

Was it a 3 row wide row, and is this a 4 row narrow row head?

That is a pretty small wagon for a 4 row head, bet it fills up fast!

Nice pics.

I had a 702 Diesel that burned right after washing it all down inside and out of the engine compartment. I used to do that with each change of equipment from Chopper to sheller and back again. So was cleaner than any of the equipment around here. Just had traded shellers and fixed the variable speed sheaves on it. Dad got a 708 with the pukins in it. Loved that hydrostat in it engine sucked though. They didn't do mud at all. 3 rows chopping with a narrow head was tight and 4 rows shwlling was almost as tight.
