Leveling screw yoke

The part number for both leveling screw yokes on my 1957 620 is F 2670 R does that indicate that they are both right-handed threads? Thanks ! Ed

The parts diagram say 2 are required. The letter R is
often placed at the end of a JD part number I am sure
some JD guru in here can tell you what it means. I
would guess that the threaded adjustment rods 2706
and 2707 are labeled Left and Right due to something
like length that situates them to a certain side not
because of the type of threads they have. Pretty sure
they both have right handed threads.

I am not much of a guru, but I think the last letter of the JD numbers indicates which division of the company had design control of the part. If other divisions used the part in their machines, they could not tweak the design to fit their needs. Leo, who worked in engineering back in the 50's and again in the 80's.

Letter suffix in a JD part # designates JD factory which in this case "R" is Waterloo factory
