Winter wonderland

Woke up to this today. Looks like about 4
inches. Was supposed to be just a dusting.

Wasn't ready for that yet. At least it's
not 24 inches like one other Halloween.
That year the snow never left after.

I remember that Halloween very distantly. I was working in Hudson WI. They predicted only a few inches but kept changing the amount as it got deeper and deeper. Luckily my sister lived in the southern suburbs of the twin cities. I had to pick her up with my 4WD Suburban because her car could not make it home. I stayed with her & her husband for 3 or 4 days until the road cleared for me to go home to SD.

We only had an inch, less on places that kept thawing a bit.

I remember that holloween snow back when, it was a long winter.

Beautiful picture! Can you, or somebody make it into a puzzle, please? And, to tease that's the first double barrel cannon I've ever seen! And with the white snow it looks like your Ford Truck could be a twin of my 1970 F 600. Thanks for posting! kelly

Hover your cursor over the three horizontal lines in the upper left corner. A dialog box will drop down with the option to 'open photo as a puzzle'. Navigate to your saved image.
