Old IH In The Snow

I took this shot 13 years ago today in my yard when we had another early snowfall. Jigsaw took me over 20 minutes to complete this time.

Nice old truck. Too warm here in Maryland, 80F yesterday. Not much cooler today.

Why the tow bar on the front? I know--to tow it around. Did you use the truck as a trailer at times or pull it to get it started? Thanks for the pic, wish we'd get some snow.

When I'm hauling gravel with it I need to get the tractor and front end loader to the pit and being by myself I need to improvise Hitch the truck behind the tractor and head out. I've towed the truck that way for miles and it works great. In fact thats how we brought it home from the auction sale back in 2002.

That's pretty handy, nice way to get two pieces of equipment to the work. Saves some gas, too!

(quoted from post at 16:31:05 10/29/23) How many pieces are you guys using? I use around 180 give or take and it's an hour at least........ Larry
I think mine is usually 108 pieces. This one seemed to take longer because of all the white snow in it.

How does this puzzle work? I am on an Apple computer if that is a concern.
As far as I know you just click on the link and a page opens up with the puzzle and you go to work. My brother does them on his I pad with no problem. I'm on ms windows system.

Soooo........back to the truck! I'm sure you've told us this before, but just wanted to verify what year it is. Looks like an early 50's R-series, correct?

Yes, R160 and I'm calling it the same year as me (53). Previous owner upgraded the engine to a newer BD 264 which is a nice increase in power. I have numerous videos with the R160 on my youtube channel over the past decade. Bought the truck at auction in the fall of 2002. $500 for a non running truck but we soon had it working.
