I finally got to October without a fire this year. I try to make it to Oct before needing a fire. Not that I don't like to have heat just wood cutting season is so long about 6-9 months. Usually from sometime in Sept till sometime in April or May.

Fired up gas logs today and will start burning wood about Nov 1.
Enjoyed a fire in the shop this evening.

Yea started my outdoor burner today also. Everything started as should house set at
69 and hot water heater gets a break now

You have that right about fair time. Here in the seacoast area of N.H.the rule of thumb is,you put your coat on at
Deerfield fair time, and take it off April first.

Been having fires in the kitchen cookstove off and on for the past month.
With propane at $5.09/gallon for a small user, it doesn't take much excuse
to burn wood.

Waiting for a few things. I need to clean my stove pipe, from the roof to the stove, and installing a new piece of sheet steel to the inside of my
stove. One other item I am waiting for my wood to dry a little more now, according to my cheap moisture meter the moisture is 28 %. I have a good supply of wood. for this year, and next year, Stan
