Schwartz Heavy Duty wide front.

How many of these were made back in the day? I don't recall ever seeing one until I got this one on a 460 Farmall. The wheels are 15" x 6" with conventional backspacing. As you can see, if 7.5L-15's were mounted on these wheels instead of the rotten 235/75-15's the wheels could be moved in almost 3". I don't think they make such a wheel so I'm considering making some.

Looks like what I have on the 960 Ford.

The tractor ribs fit fine. Dad replaced with car or truck tires On implement rims, some dishes dont fit right and have to be put on backwards so the rim dishes out pretty
far. Wouldnt do that with a loader, but not a bad thing with a fairly light front tractor. If you look I think you can order a whole bunch of dish measurements so can find
what you want if you want to pay for it. If I understand your question?

Hello if you are talking about the rims they can be found in any size and offset,(check with a salvage yard ) I used to order rims ,
spindles and hubs for equipments I made from Pioneer rim and wheel, I checked they are still open. When I ordered from them they were
resonabley priced , now I don't know. I remember ordering four bolt implement with the valve stem to the inside 20 plus years ago. the
wide front we had on our 400 had 600x16s on it I think. best of luck Bryan

Look at Heywheel they have different offsets for tractor fronts and implement wheels in different sizes so you could put 16's on if you wanted to or keep your 15's. They will want the measurements from your spindle and wheels to compare to theirs. Take a look at their website for more information on waht they can do for you. they also sell new wheel centers for old wheels you can get 2 kinds one you need to be able to press them in and then weld at your postiton and they have one that just drops in and weld in place to your position both work well.I have used both and bought wheels from them. they did shy away from making me an adapter to go from 38's to 42's or 46's to weld in a 42or 46 inch rim so I could bolt it to the casting on a 38 inch center for a narrower tire to spray with and not lose my ground speed and keep my underneath clearance for corn and tall beans spraying. Needed them this summer for corn. I guess I will need to buy some plate steel and cut out the rings and weld them in some rims when I get them.

when i was young they were sold at most dealers n lots of tricycle tractors were
converted.
schwartz was 1 speeco was another add on wide front ends

Taken in context with your other thread about the 8" wide wheels things make a little more sense:

You need the wider rims to be able to move the wheel in 3". There simply isn't enough width

I expect that the spindles are the way that they are, so standard commonly-available wheels can be used without the tires rubbing the knees. I bet an 11L-15 with standard backspacing wouldn't rub, maybe even a 125L-15. Keeps cost down, rather than having to source rims with special backspacing like IH for example.

(quoted from post at 03:06:34 10/02/23) it would be of help if the whole front end was pictured instead of bits and pieces.

Here it is with new Firestone 7.5L-15's on 6" wide wheels. There is 3" of clearance to make custom 8" wide wheels with more backspacing and then have the outer part of the wheel still come in 1-1/2" or so. I bit the bullet and got the Firestones for just under $180 a piece and mounted them tubeless saving $25 a piece on tubes. Hopefully they outlive me. Don't see the point in buying $100 tires that may only last 2-3 years.
