Youngest son Cameron recently bought himself a Farmall Cub. It was mostly in good mechanical condition when he got it, but it needed a little TLC to make it a nice operable unit. After changing to 12v system since the 6v system had quit, oil pan gasket replaced, headlights working, a good servicing front to rear, and a few missing pieces here and there, it is now in operation. I'm so glad the major gas pipeline does not run near the farm, do both boys would keep it drained dry from running they're tractors. We may have to go in and reseal a transmission oil leak as it seems to be wetting a brake band with gear oil. He's already received the parts to change out the brakes. This will probably be a winter job. He had a bog type disk come with the package deal and the tractor is not phased a bit with it. Will a Cub lift a 4 ft fast hitch tandem type disk ? I know it would pull one. We do not have one to try but it's on his want list if it would work.
