Figured out what was wrong. The silo ad was scanned from a slide at 9600 DPI, bringing the file size up to 38.1 MB. Thought it was from a pre-scanned
slide presentation. So, without further needless blabbering.....

I have a 3-1/2 bay wagon shed made of the tongue and groove wood stave silo and that wood has been unpainted and still solid after, I think, 100 years. Leo

That must have been a pretty silo when first erected. Shudder to think what it would cost in todays lumber prices.
