I always like the way they can work in dress clothes or in this case a suit and apparently never get greasy. Me I would ruin a suit in about 5 minutes or less if I tried that.
 
Helped with that in my dim and distant past. Over here the crops were cut slightly un-ripe and left in shocks to ripen, then carted and taken to the stack yard and built into stacks to wait for the threshing contractor and his kit usually powered by a steam engine or Field Marshall tractor. I used to be picked up and given a ride across the field on the coal in the hopper on the steam engine, much to my mothers delight at having to wash me and my clothes.
 
Days of Heaven. Before the soil fertility wore down and dust and grasshoppers arrived.
Looks like a Red River farm. Note the nice big house.
 
Any idea where that picture was taken? Looks like a very nice yield. I did some of that shocking at age 7 or 8 when I wasn't much taller than the shocks!
