Was wrong, not a Norfolk registered engine the number comes from Southampton. The accident happened in Brentford High Street.
Doesnt look like much of a hill. Something broke, or it got hit to make it lay over?
How do you deal with a steamer when something like this happens, the fire will continue for a time until it uses up some fuel, but the water/ steam has to be in all the wrong places?

Most of the draft dies down so the fire isnt too lively when theyre like that. Also sometimes the remains of the fire can be shovelled out. Been around some model steam locomotives that derailed and landed in a similar orientation that were too big/hot to just pick up.
