Had that happen to me years ago, was cutting hay with a H and was backing up at a corner when
the left side went down. I thought i had backed into a hole in the field looked to the left and
the back wheel was laying on the ground. the brothers I was working for remembered they had hit
a tree hard while using that H in the woods years before. Looking at the broken axle you could
see the fatique marks had worked across it till it just let go. I was sure surprised to see the
rear wheel laying on the ground.

Had that happen with 8 speed 930 Case. 5 shank Big Ox down to beam, snapped of axle but was cracked 1/3 way thru , guess to much strain.
