I have this tractor with what I believe to be a Hiniker Cab. Is this so, and if so, how do I access the evaporator and heater
core? There is no access panel on the roof.

There are two pivot points, one on either side at the rear just under the condensor housing. Does that whole roof tilt back?

Thanks

Allen, welcome back! Sorry this is not about your cab. I am not sure if this is right or wrong but I thought you were fairly knowledgeable on IH Hydro tractors. On this forum Tractor Talk on Classic page 2 there is a post by a new poster about a 656 utility hydro, the hydro lever slips out of position and loses forward drive. I thought maybe you could help him out if you had some knowledge on the problem. Thanks!

Hey Allen -- I remember My dad talking about a company that took the top off a factory cabs ( Hiniker--Year around ect.) and put their top on it what included air and heat --could that be one of them? Them doors look familier.

Hi, long time no see! Sorry I can't help you on the cab, just wanted to say Howdy.Hope all is well. Chris

I can't help you on the cab, but Hiniker is still in business

Welcome back. I miss your posts if you are the same one. Are you the transmission guy? If you are i used some of your information and told a kid how to fix his trans.

I have a similar cab on a deutz tractor. On my tractor you remove the bolts from the cab top that are above the door hinges on each side then standing on the hood lift up and it should open but sometimes its pretty stuck. Should pivot at the back of the cab.

I think AC condenser/heater core will be located at the very rear of cab not under cab roof. Rear top appears as if it can be raised. You'll probably need heater not AC while moving SNOW!
