There really are a lot of good people on this site.

I think its safe to conclude that every one of us is carrying life's battle scars.

PS: Take the time to listen to T. Graham Brown's version of Sweet Beulah Land by Squire Parsons. Tell me if you can listen to it without a tear or two. I can't.

Ya, you're right, there are plenty of people with some real serious problems. That's why it irritates me so much when people are constantly complaining about trivial little made up things when there are others with real troubles.

I guess their fathers never said ''You wanna cry? I'll give you something to cry about!''. Makes me wish karma would slap them back to the reality of what real trouble is.
 
People complain about trivial things because they are spoiled. I will be the first to admit that i have been guilty at times of doing so.
 
I dont post often like used to back when the Red was here with us. I started on here back in 99 and mainly posted on the Tales but over the last few years seems like there are people who just cant get along with the rest of us. The best thing about this site is if you have a life issue we are at your disposal to help in any way possible. We have lost members and gained some along the way and this site was made for us to help each other with our problems and issues be it with a prayer or helpful advice. Nuff said I need to finish my beer.

All I ask is the consideration that someone might be in a harder place than you are right now. Which means all you spoiled narcissists can just take your seat and shut up. steve
 
Heard the ambulance call on the police scanner this morning, sounded bad.

It was.

27 year old mechanic had something fall on him at the local Case dealer, he didnt survive. Leaves a wife and one year old.

Hearing it on the scanner, and hearing the ambulance come and go, hearing the helicopter. Then hearing he didnt make it.

Was a long day and I dont know the family. Just feel so bad for all.

I don't know where I read this, but I saved it and read it often.

Even when you are at your worst, look around. There are a lot of people a lot worse off than you. Be thankful for what you have, not complain about what you don't have.

There is a lot of people here that remind us how well off we have it. I read a lot here but post a little.

Yup, one of my father's favorite sayings, LOL. I used to tell my son, "That is NOT something to cry about, and he usually straightened out pretty quick.
