Looks like a "Must be Monday pic" to me!

I also bought 12 tickets to win a 1940 JD BN. Wish me luck.

Too bad we missed each other, Gordy.

Yes, thanks for posting these pictures.

You didn't happen to get any more of that standard tread John Deere G? That's the one Bob N.Y. is referring to. Someone must have built that one up, as Deere never made any of those.

I was there Friday and Saturday. its my favorite show of the year to attend! However, I should tell you, I was promised that I had purchased
the winning tickets for the BN :)

Great pics... looks like a great show.

I like that AllGaier tractor. Have never seen one before.

Hope you win the 1940 JD BN!!

(quoted from post at 07:19:21 08/23/23) I don't think I have ever seen a G with a standard front axle. Was it a special purpose tractor?

As I stated above, Deere never made any of these that I am aware of. Someone built this up on their own. There have been others over the years. I have pics of one in this area that I saw last summer.

jd2cyl1943, you have SERIOUSLY impressed this old geezer! WOW!! What a wonderful time you had!! Thanks for bringing the rest of us along with your pics.

And always remember, you are doing things that nearly nobody else in the world has done. Think about it -- you've been able to stand there on that traction engine and operate it -- like, keeping one foot in the present while the other foot is standing in the past. Man-o-man, you are having one heck of a lifetime so far!
