Anybody making 6 volt generator cut-outs for tractors.
I mean the old style, not electronic.
Thanks, Richard in NW SC

(quoted from post at 16:09:43 08/20/23) I see this site has one for a 9N Ford.
Is it electronic?
would expect that they would be bragging about it, if it were electronic.

You can mount the diode
Cutout in a hidden location and just leave the ordinary mechanical regulator and mechanical cutout in place .

Look at this one from Brillman.#B8001-001, Universal Cutout Relay

They also list one as electronic so this one may not be.

Not much to a cut out. Less to go wrong there than a voltage regulator. Are you sure yours is bad??

Not sure how deere's were wired up, but the old farmalls were controlled through the light switch. If Amp box lid (where light switch was at) was not properly grounded, charging system would not work. Common problem they had (bad ground there). If deere's had something similar, you might check for a bad ground. The last time I tore into a cut out problem, I thought I had a bad cut out also. Turned out to be bad grounding.

(quoted from post at 08:42:58 08/21/23) Is there a difference in the regulator for an A circuit of B circuit generator.
bsolutely different and NOT interchangeable.
