Roadside Tractor in Iceland and Volcano

Saw this on a recent trip. Parked by the road, probably doing hay duty so the sheep have something to eat this winter. Any idea what it is? Possibly Zetor but I don't think so.

BTW, maybe a bit more interesting than the tractor, I was able to get very close to the wall of lava from the recently erupting volcano. The volcano itself was about a half-mile away and the lava was moving very slowly with chunks of it breaking off from time to time as it advanced. Made a sound something like breaking glass--it's a very brittle material.

It's not officially encouraged to go visit the site but there wasn't much they could do about it since everyone wants to see the volcano. They will close the trails however if the harmful gasses are blowing in the wrong direction. It's a long trek, several hours each way over rugged and unforgiving ground.

Saw this one in a visitors center last fall. Kind of surprised me. Not sure where but was near some bubbling hot springs. Will say that iceland is something to
see.

Spent a week there on the golden triangle.

You were in the town of Geysir. Don't think I ever saw the tractor but they've changed things a lot since I've been visiting. Used to be very little in the way of services and built-up attractions until tourism really took off.

That's Gulfoss, "foss" being the word for waterfall or fall in Icelandic. Pretty spectacular, sounds like you had a good trip. Early on all the info about it was in Icelandic, didn't understand a word of it. They probably have it in other languages now.

It's an IH probably something like the 84or85 series tractors with the top cut out of the cab and some modifications to the front grill and head lights. IF you look close the fuel tank is in the back between the fenders like a 74 series tractor.
