Have you checked to see if the chain coupler is turning? Did it do it all at once? Does it have a hydrapower drive. send me an e-mail with phone number. J/

What gear were you in? I went in to reverse on mine one time and the shift rail broke so it wouldn't come back out. If it's that serious, the whole top or the transmission has to come off. I'd lift the shift out and stick a bar of some sort down there to line the notches back up before I did anything else. When I did that, I had a forward gear again alright, but as soon as I went to reverse, it did it again.

If that rail broke, you have bigger problems that I've got. I blew a steering line up under the dash on my 1600 yesterday and the gas tank has to come out. Child's play compared to what you might be in for.

Ok, there is a lot I don't know at this point and time. I am a local Mechanic that has been asked to come look at. The Oliver is a '68 and I believe it was being used that the time and has hydro on it. I was thinking stuck in two gears. Have been looking for info for understanding the system and operation, but has been difficult. contact [email protected] 7198503843 Any pointers or direction to go to will be helpful. Will be going to tractor Monday morning and hopefully have more information at that time. Thank you
