Looking over brother's Fordson

He is a top-rated tractor mechanic now in his late 70's. Likes to get
creative and make his stuff more useful and handy. Not totally restorative.

He found a hydrostatic steering unit from an old streetsweeper. He rigged up
a mounting for the pump, and bushed the fuel tank with plastic plumbing tube.
The fluid tank is mounted up front. Steers with one finger.

He fixed up the seat mount to fit his size and weight.

Thats cool, I like to see vintage tractors fixed up and used by what ever means necessary that an owner likes. The die hard enthusiasts that thinks a tractor should remain one hundred percent original is not on the same page I am. An old workhorse thats still be used is far better than one thats been scrapped. I give him an A+
