i agree. looks just like my older cat. i've been partial to that look since my first.
 
id have to go to my friendly john deere dealer and buy a few rattle cans of john
deere classic green and paint all the area behind the flywheel and casting.
looking good. as for kitty we got 1 that looks like yours
 
Looks as if you are very fortunate that the previous owner must have taken good care of the tractor. The splines in the flywheel the clutch drive disk and also the crankshaft have obviously been kept tight and they are not all messed up. Be sure that you keep a close check on them when you get it all going again.
