Allis 190 won't run

Ok I have an Allis Chalmers 190 gas that recently had the fuel pump go out so I put a universal electric fuel pump on it been running fine baled several acres of hay over the past two months. Now it started sputtering like it was running out of gas then it would clear up for a few minutes then sputter again now it will barely start and die,so I checked the fuel filter and made sure there's plenty of fuel at the carb. I took the carb apart and cleaned it . I tried it again and it wouldn't do the same thing. I even tried spraying starting fluid in while it was trying to run and it didn't make a difference. So now I changed the distributor cap and rotor cap. Didn't make a difference. It's getting fuel what's the problem?

Points and condenser? Clean and adjust the points use fine folded silicon carbide (250 grit or finer) to polish them. Clean that residue with contact cleaner, or a folded dollar bill to assure clean point of conduction. Then adjust with the rubbing block on the cam lobe. (requires turning the engine slowly to open the points. High gear on concrete can let you push it forward to do this. then put a tiny dab of grease on the cam lobe so it is wiped by the rubbing block. Put it back together and see if it runs. A distributor cam bushing that is worn can let the adjustment be wildly wrong. no up down away toward movement should be present. Jim

you changed out parts, so tell us if u have good spark.??? the points are more important than a cap and rotor. have u even looked at them and
checked the gap?

Points bad or out of adjustment and or bad condenser. 1st step of simple diagnostics, does it have a hot blue/white spark when cranking it over if not or weak red spark
at coil lead to cap ditto to to plugs if good spark your problems are else ware.

Ok I've replaced the coil and it ran great for about 10 minutes then started acting up again and died so I changed the points and condenser and still no fire what am I missing?

My guess is the condenser ,we had a 620 JD that did the samething, The last set of points and condenser I bought the parts man checked the
condeser with a multi meter , he said they go bad on the shelf. Bryan
