We have been putting off the task of juicing some raspberries. Well, the fridge became stuffed full of berries and we picked another gallon+ this evening. Just couldn't bear to see them go to waste! Next we will clean the juice up a bit and prepare it for making raspberry jelly.

IF you cook them up with whole berries, you can make a preserve and not waste any of the berry. That is what we do if we have enough raspberries and we seldom have enough by the time we freeze them and black caps/raspberries which the later grow wild here so we just pick what grows. Takes a lot of water to keep black caps to make it to full berries if it is dry weather like this year has been.
