Case vac leaking axle seals

I have a case vac that both axle seals leak really bad and i was wondering how i would have to go about and replace them. Do i have to pull the axles out to replace them? If anyone has done them before any tips would be appreciated.

Just finished one on the VAC 14. Support either one of the axle supports with proper cribbing, but not before draining the rear differential of the lubricant. Loosen the rim clamps on the rear wheel hub and remove wheel. Clean rear axle of dirt , grime and nicks. Pull old axle seal out and replace. John Saeli equipment has your replacement seals, and you can get them in several days from him .Best of luck.CM.https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/talk/messages/2411269.html#postfp

The first thing I'd do is pull the drain plug and see if there is a bunch of water at the bottom of the differential housing. Loosen it and slowly turn it out and just when it gets to the end of the threads see if water comes out. If the seals are leaking a lot of fluid, the lube level may be too high due to water infiltration. Not saying that the seals don't need to be replaced, just that there is normally no pressure behind them and an over full condition can make them leak worse than if the level is where it should be.

That would be the first thing I would do also.
My VAC leaks out at the brakes if the transmission is too full.
