Rough Day for Tractor Ride

At Maquoketa,Iowa for the Red Rock Threshers ride. 2
sag wagons were kept busy all morning. 9 or 10 tractors
broke down, mine was one of them. I lost the chain
coupler and had to get pulled to Cascade for lunch and
then got hauled back to Maquoketa. Luckily Roeders had
one, so I picked it up and got it put on so Im ready for
tomorrow. A Case VAI lost the gear for the distributor, a
buddys 3020 sprung a oil leak on the front of the motor,
a 1850 had a hydraulic hose leaking and a Farmall had a
rear wheel come loose. Tomorrow will be better!

How many tractors were in the ride total. That seems excessive for breakdowns.

Dont know if u know , but them chain connectors go on a certain way. One Long cotter pin in both pins , and the cotter pin head in direction of travel.

Using the tractor for a day or so doing something like raking hay helps work the bugs out.

After looking at your pictures and seeing how many tractors were there 9-10 break downs doesn't really sound that bad.
